The great program!!! to be a medical assistant you can learn hand on washing vitals signs,ekg,cleaning instruments also like injections and blood draws phlebotomy. I am very grateful for my experience at this Medical Assistant school. The program is well-organized, hands-on, and truly prepares students for real healthcare settings. The reason I wanted to become a Medical Assistant is not only because I am pursuing a career in healthcare, but because I love helping people feel better, understanding them, and making them feel comfortable so they can live their lives to the best of their ability. One of the skills I have learned and enjoyed the most is drawing blood. It can be one of the most nerve-wracking experiences for any patient, myself included. Being able to comfort patients during that process makes me feel like I am doing my job right and learning the right way. My favorite part of the program is not only the hands-on experience, but also the connections you create in such a short amount of time. Everyone supports one another, which creates a positive and welcoming learning environment. This program has impacted my life by helping me discover new skills and confidence that I never knew I had.
